My initial reaction to hearing the music 'Sierra Planes' for the first time was that this was a young man trying in some sort of emotional pain. The music and lyrics indicated to me, that this is a young person trying to break free of society, wanting to make his own rules and go at his own pace- to explore beyond what is presented before him. I also had the idea that this was something of a memory or dream that he would wake up from later on, but long to live in. Life being as it is however, he can't indulge in it.
